How are you spending your summer? As relaxing as it may be to chill at the pool or hang out with friends, what if you chose to make an eternal impact on the lives of kids right where you live?!

Middle school and high school students from around Arkansas are coming together to reach the boys and girls of your community – and YOU can be a part of this team!

Christian Youth in Action® (CYIA™) is a program designed to train  high-schoolers ranging from 13 to 17 years of age how to teach children about God in effective and engaging ways. You will attend a week-long training where you will learn to present the Gospel clearly on a child’s level, counsel children for salvation and lead a dynamic club ministry for kids. Components of this club include teaching a Bible lesson, a real-life missionary story and a Bible verse as well as leading songs, games and a fun review time.

Junior CYIA™ is for anyone who is 11 to 13 years old that has a heart to lead and teach children about God. In this program, pre-teens may apply for CYIA training and serve as a Summer Missionary Assistant (SMA). The training takes place June 1st-3rd and SMAs commit to serving in 5-Day Club ministry for at least 2 weeks of the summer. They will work alongside the Summer Missionaries (SM) assisting with prayer time, games, and many other things. This is a great opportunity for them to get a head start on trainings and lay the ground work to attend CYIA™ in the future!

 

After this training, you will return to your local community and teach clubs at various locations with a team of other young people. These clubs can take place anywhere, from parks, to schools, daycare centers, and even backyards!
